Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Design & Development

• Lead the architecture, design, and analysis of digital, analog, mixed-signal, RF, and power-electronics circuits used in CNS avionics.
• Develop hardware specifications, schematics, bills of materials, simulation models, and interface definitions.
• Guide PCB layout, component selection, EMI/EMC compliance considerations, manufacturability, environmental robustness, and certification readiness.
• Perform detailed design reviews and drive issue resolution across teams.

System Integration & Validation

• Integrate hardware with embedded software, FPGA logic, RF front-ends, and system-level avionics architectures.
• Plan and execute verification and validation strategies, including functional testing, environmental stress, HALT/HASS, qualification (DO-160), and certification support.
• Debug complex system interactions and guide root-cause analysis on field returns, production issues, and test anomalies.

Product Lifecycle Ownership

• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, and Program Management throughout requirements definition, design, integration, verification, production, and sustainment.
• Support configuration management, engineering changes, obsolescence management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory requirements, safety standards, and applicable processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing to deliver high-quality CNS hardware.
• Contribute to cross-site design reviews, knowledge-sharing forums, and technical talks.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and certification authorities as needed.
