Requirements:- SQL / T-SQL and data modelling experience
- Experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL
- Experience building and managing data pipelines
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Own the ingestion and processing of large national datasets
- Develop data models, reporting databases and analytical datasets
- Build automated data quality checks and monitoring
- Improve the performance, reliability and cost of data workloads
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams on data requirements
- Support data governance, security and compliance

We are a well-established SaaS company based in Huddersfield, and we are looking for a hands-on SQL Developer to join our growing technology team. You will take ownership of the data pipelines, models and reporting that underpin our platform, while helping shape the future data architecture. The role would suit a SQL Server developer, database developer, or a candidate experienced using T-SQL who enjoys end-to-end ownership, solving complex data problems and working across the full data lifecycle. We offer a salary of £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with circa 1 day onsite in Huddersfield, genuine ownership of the data engineering function, a highly collaborative and supportive environment, and the opportunity to influence architecture and help shape the future of the platform.
