Solutions Engineer

All Gravy is the all-in-one employee app designed for front-line, hospitality, and retail workers. 🥞

The next generation of employees are used to apps like Instagram, TikTok and Spotify in their personal lives but when they go to work at a restaurant chain or retail store, they're met with software created before they were born. All Gravy is changing that. We're modernising the tools for frontline employees and transforming the experience into one that is engaging and motivating; making their lives easier from getting paid to developing their careers. We innovate on the whole employee journey: from being recruited, onboarded, and growing skills, to knowing when to work and connecting with co-workers. We already work with some of the most exciting brands in Northern Europe - Gail's, L’Osteria, Pizza Pilgrims, Honest Burgers, Ottolenghi, Dishoom, Q8, 7-Eleven, and Best Western.

We've grown 300% over the last year and are now accelerating our expansion further into new markets. Our team spans a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds, united by one mission: to shape the future for shift and gig workers everywhere. We're passionate, hard-working, and just getting started the best is genuinely yet to come. If you want to do meaningful work, move fast, and be part of a team that's changing an entire industry, we'd love to have you on board. 🚀

Awesome! But what will my new role be?

🤩 About the role

Your customer just signed. They've got 200 staff on WhatsApp, training in a ring binder, and a go-live date in three weeks.

You're the one who makes it actually happen.

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer who takes a signed deal and turns it into a fully configured, branded, live platform - reliably and fast.

You'll own the entire journey from close-won to go-live for our SMB hospitality customers. Part configurator, part project manager, part trainer, part trusted advisor. You'll run multiple implementations in parallel using structured scheduling and playbooks.

Every implementation you deliver saves an operator hours of admin time every week, gets their team properly trained, and replaces the chaos of disconnected tools with one app their people actually use.

This is also an opportunity to shape how we implement at scale - you'll work with the team lead to improve playbooks, templates, and processes as you learn what works. The role will develop as we grow, and there's plenty of room for you to grow with it.

You'll report to the SE Team Lead and work cross-functionally with Sales, CS, Product, and Support every day.

🎯 What You Will Do

• Run onboarding end-to-end, from kick off through to post go live.

  • Configure workflows, communication feeds, learning pathways, permissions, integrations, and compliance modules - tailored to each customer's operations.

  • Run online and in-person training sessions that get admins and managers confident on the platform.

• Use slot scheduling and playbooks to stay predictable across your portfolio. No surprises for anyone.

• Document decisions, configurations, and customer context so the CS handover is clean and nothing gets lost.

• Spot recurring product gaps, process bottlenecks, and customer pain points - feed them back to Product and the SE team.

• Improve templates, playbooks, and processes over time. Leave things better than you found them.

🙌 You'll thrive here if you...

• Speak excellent English.

• Have direct experience in at least one of: solutions engineering, SaaS implementation, technical onboarding, or hospitality operations - you know what it's like when the Monday rush hits and the new starter hasn't been trained.

• Are organised and methodical - able to run multiple parallel implementations without dropping detail.

• Communicate clearly and proactively - customers trust you because you're always ahead of the next update.

• Are technically curious - AI, APIs, integrations, permissions, workflows. Technical background not required, but willingness to learn is essential.

• Take ownership - if a process is broken or disjointed, you don't work around it, you flag it and help to fix it.

• Handle ambiguity well - not every customer fits the playbook. You adapt without losing speed or quality.

• Take feedback and apply it - you learn from each cycle and get better.

We look for people who like being part of a team, have great energy, and have a mindset of learning and growing.

💡 Even if you don't tick every box, you might be the perfect fit. We treasure our learning culture and encourage all humble people to apply.

💎 Why All Gravy

• Grow fast, for real. We promote from within, move quickly, and give you real responsibility from day one.

• A culture that actually develops you. Honest feedback, active coaching, and the autonomy to experiment. We invest in you because your growth is our growth.

• Work that matters. Your work will directly impact the daily lives of millions of frontline workers.

• You'll work with people who've built, scaled, and won. Ex-founders, operators, all here because they want to do it again, bigger.

• The good stuff too. Prime office location, team lunches, Friday bars, padel tournaments, wine tastings, off-sites, top tier equipment, and a fridge that's always stocked. We work hard and celebrate harder.
