Solutions Architect for a 12-month engagement designing a modern AWS cloud platform: architect scalable, secure, cost-effective AWS/EKS infrastructure, set architecture standards, build CI/CD for containerized workloads, and integrate managed AI/ML services like SageMaker and Bedrock — infrastructure architecture, not model development. 100% remote, LATAM/Mexico.
We are looking for a talented Solutions Architect with strong AWS and cloud architecture experience to help design and guide a modern cloud platform over a 12-month engagement, with a focus on Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and the integration of AI/ML workloads.
In this role, you'll work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS architectures across compute, networking, storage, and security. You'll help establish architecture standards, guide the implementation of EKS-based platforms, and support the integration of managed AI/ML services into existing cloud environments.
This is not a research or data science role. The focus is on architecting and integrating the cloud infrastructure needed to support AI/ML workloads rather than developing machine learning models.
If you enjoy solving complex architecture challenges, working with modern cloud technologies, and collaborating with both engineers and stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.
We are a remote-first, cross-functional engineering team focused on delivering scalable and reliable solutions through collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Our development and delivery approach emphasizes:
✅ Scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud architectures. ✅ Collaboration with engineers, clients, and technical stakeholders. ✅ Clear architecture documentation and knowledge sharing. ✅ Ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving. ✅ Agile and iterative delivery with a focus on measurable results. ✅ Continuous improvement and adoption of modern cloud technologies.
You are an experienced Solutions Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer who enjoys designing modern cloud platforms and solving complex technical challenges.
You have strong hands-on experience with AWS and are comfortable designing solutions across networking, compute, storage, security, and cloud infrastructure.
You're experienced with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, and understand how containerized workloads are deployed, secured, monitored, and scaled in production environments.
You're comfortable discussing architecture decisions with both technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into practical and scalable solutions.
You have an interest in AI/ML technologies and understand how cloud platforms can support AI/ML workloads, without necessarily being a data scientist or machine learning engineer.
You're adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership of architecture decisions in a consulting and client-facing environment.
