A permanent, hybrid (Sydney CBD) Solution Designer role at the Reserve Bank of Australia: you translate business goals into secure, scalable end-to-end enterprise solutions, designing APIs, integration and event-driven architectures across on-prem, Azure cloud and external partners, with an eye toward AI/ML enablement.
Opportunity to shape the Bank's next-generation integration and AI-enabled architecture
We are seeking an experienced Solution Designer to join our technology team and play a pivotal role in designing, integrating, and evolving enterprise solutions across the Bank.
This role is responsible for translating business objectives into scalable, secure and resilient technology solutions that span internal systems, cloud platforms, and external partners. You will work across a diverse technology landscape, designing end-to-end applications, APIs, integration services, event-driven architectures, and data flows that enable critical business capabilities.
The ideal candidate combines strong architecture and integration experience with a forward-looking understanding of AI, machine learning, and modern cloud platforms, helping ensure today's solutions can evolve to meet tomorrow's opportunities.

About You
You are an experienced solution designer, architect or senior technical specialist who enjoys working across business and technology domains. You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity, navigating complex stakeholder environments and solving enterprise-scale integration challenges.
You have a strong understanding of application architecture, system integration and cloud technologies, together with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
