Solution Architect

Are you a collaborative and forward‑thinking professional with a passion for Functional Application Management? Do you want to contribute to Nobian’s ambition to become one of Europe’s most sustainable chemical companies while helping shape and optimize our SAP PM landscape for world‑class maintenance management?

Your challenges:

This is a collaborative and impactful opportunity for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues across all levels of the organization. You bring connections within the Asset Maintenance IT market — or the curiosity and talent to build them — and you contribute to Nobian’s innovation journey while guiding our service providers toward high‑quality delivery.

Nobian is accelerating its digital maintenance transformation, with initiatives such as the mobile factory worker, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and our transition to S/4HANA. As the Solution Architect SAP PM, you play a central role in this transformation. You work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants and service providers, creating strong partnerships and ensuring alignment across all networks you actively manage.

You support decision‑making by translating business strategies into robust, cost‑effective IT blueprints that strengthen our SAP PM‑driven maintenance processes. In this role, your ability to collaborate, learn, grow and connect with others is just as important as your technical expertise — and you will have the space and support to develop yourself further.

Your responsibilities:

• Template governance — Ensure quality and consistency in deployment templates across all maintenance‑related solutions.
• IM documentation — Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation and asset registers for relevant business processes and applications.
• Stakeholder management — Manage stakeholder relationships and their demands, ranging from incidents to small projects.
• SAP integrations — Handle integrations between SAP and business partners, including logistics service providers.
• ServiceNow processes — Manage incidents and changes, often through Nobian’s ticketing system, ServiceNow.

Our offer:

When you join us, you become part of an inspiring, supportive and ambitious international environment, surrounded by skilled and motivated colleagues who value collaboration and personal growth. We are a company that develops, produces and sells products essential to everyday life — and we believe our people are just as essential.

You will find a workplace where employees aim high, take ownership and feel encouraged to grow, learn and shape their own path. We offer an employment package that supports both your professional development and your wellbeing. Our employment package comprises:

• We aim for the best possible match. Therefore, both a fixed‑term and a permanent employment contract may be considered, depending on what aligns best with the candidate and our organization.
• Annual gross salary (full‑time) between EUR 76.000 – EUR 118.000.
• Flexible working options, including the possibility to work part‑time (minimum 32 hours per week).
• An attractive bonus scheme that rewards your contribution.
• 35 vacation days to support rest, balance and wellbeing.
• Training and development opportunities to help you grow and shape your career path.

Your strengths and potential

You are a motivated professional who is eager to grow into the role and further develop your expertise in SAP PM and related maintenance‑management applications. Your foundation may come from experience, education, or simply a strong affinity with digital maintenance processes — what matters most is your ability to learn, collaborate, and build positive working relationships.

You enjoy working in a team environment, communicate clearly, and bring a constructive, positive mindset. Your curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to develop new skills are just as important as your current technical knowledge.

What helps you succeed:

• Affinity with SAP PM and an interest in learning tools such as Prometheus Scheduler, Meridian or Roser.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• General IT savviness and enthusiasm for learning new systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

Background that is beneficial (but not strict requirements):

• Experience with maintenance‑management applications or business processes (seniority levels may vary).
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, computer science, engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Strong Requirements:

• Fluency in English.
• EU residency or a long‑term Dutch residence/work permit.

We warmly welcome candidates who already have relevant experience as well as those who are eager to learn, grow and develop themselves into this role.
