At Rest, we help more than 2 million Australians to build a better financial future. With around $112 billion in funds under management, we focus on delivering strong long-term outcomes for our members — from their first job through to retirement*. Your best at Rest means focusing on what matters, being trusted to get on with it, and knowing your work genuinely makes a difference. That’s how we operate every day, guided by our values: Be Daring, Keep It Simple, Take Action and Have Grit.

The Solution Architect shapes and guides end-to-end solution designs for Rest’s digital and member service channels, ensuring strategic initiatives deliver simple, secure, scalable and member-centred outcomes. The role works across business, delivery, technology, risk and partner teams to translate business needs into pragmatic architectures that align to Rest’s technology strategy, architecture standards and governance expectations.

• Contribute to architecture assets, digital/channel patterns, reference models and standards to improve consistency, reuse and long-term maintainability across Rest’s technology landscape.
• Monitor relevant digital, channel, member experience and personalisation technology trends, assessing their implications and opportunities for Rest’s strategic initiatives and future channel capabilities.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
