Software Development Engineer in Test II at CNH Industrial (hybrid, Oak Brook, IL) builds and scales an automated test framework for embedded software on the company's precision field computer platform. Day to day: writing Python automated tests, validating CAN bus communications with Vector tools like CANoe, and ensuring compliance with standards such as ISOBUS (ISO 11783) and SAE J1939.

The Software Development Engineer in Test II is a hands-on technical contributor on a team that collectively owns our automated test framework for embedded software running on the precision field computer platform. You'll help design, build, and scale that framework while developing robust automated test cases from system requirements, validating CAN bus and network communications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards including ISO 11783 (ISOBUS), SAE J1939, ISO 25119, and NMEA 2000. This work forms the automated safety net that lets our software teams ship with confidence.
The annual salary for this role is $86,625 - $132,825 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
