Integrates customer and internal software into Applied Intuition's Vehicle OS for production vehicles: building and releasing software across ECUs, flashing target hardware, running SIL/HIL and in-vehicle testing, and automating CI/CD pipelines. Core stack: C/C++, CMake/Make/Bazel, embedded Linux/QNX/RTOS, Python and Bash.
You will integrate customer and internal software into Vehicle OS releases for production vehicles. You will build and release software across ECUs, bring up target hardware, run SIL, HIL, and in-vehicle testing, automate CI/CD workflows, investigate integration issues, and track readiness for SoP milestones.
Responsibilities
Integrate customer software components and applications into Vehicle OS
Build, configure, and integrate software across ECUs
Own integration builds and releases, including version management, dependencies, release notes, and customer delivery
Bring up and flash software on target hardware, benches, and vehicles
Run integration testing in SIL, HIL, and in-vehicle environments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and integration test automation
Triage integration issues across software, network, and hardware layers
Track integration readiness and quality for SoP milestones
Set up integration workflows across Japan and US time zones
Requirements
5+ years of automotive software integration, build and release engineering, or ECU software development experience
C and C++ knowledge
Experience with CMake, Make, or Bazel
Experience integrating software on embedded Linux, QNX, or RTOS targets
Hands-on HIL and SIL experience
Knowledge of automotive networks and diagnostics
Python and Bash scripting experience
Git and CI/CD tool experience
Hardware, software, and network debugging skills
Fluency in written and spoken English and Japanese
