Software Engineer

The Member Company in Cesena is seeking engineers to develop and maintain embedded software in C for machine control units. You will program PLC logic and integrate CAN/CANopen/J1939/ISOBUS protocols across controllers, sensors, actuators, and displays.

Responsibilities include bench and field tests, data analysis, commissioning support, and thorough technical documentation. Collaboration with the team using version control and code reviews is essential.

Develop and maintain embedded software in C for ECUs. Program control logic in PLC environments with safety requirements. Implement onboard machine communication protocols between controllers, sensors, actuators and displays (CAN, CANopen, J1939, ISOBUS). Participate in bench and field tests, analyzing data and resolving malfunctions. Support machine commissioning and testing. Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation. Collaborate with team using versioning and code review practices. Experience in embedded C programming for ECUs and machine control. Familiarity with PLC environments and safety requirements. Knowledge of CAN, CANopen, J1939, ISOBUS communication protocols.
