Builds, tests and deploys secure, safety-critical autonomy software for defence and aerospace programmes at SII UK's new software team, creating CI/CD pipelines, APIs, cloud and data integrations. Core stack: C++, Python, Linux/Windows, MySQL/MongoDB, DevSecOps and cloud.
We are seeking a Software Engineer for Autonomy to support the development, deployment and evolution of software, data and AI capabilities across complex and safety-critical programmes. Working within a newly established software development team, you will contribute to the creation of scalable and reusable software solutions that enhance operational capabilities and support strategic growth.
You will work closely with software engineers, architects, DevOps specialists and stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams, developing secure and robust solutions that enable autonomy, data integration and digital transformation initiatives across defence and technology-focused environments.
With five strategic offices in Belfast, Chester, Farnborough, London and Oxford, we work in partnership with our customers UK-wide to deliver high-impact engineering solutions.
