Set the team’s standards for testing, observability, and delivery through code review and pairing Design and build services across the device lifecycle, from device boot images to teardown, including readiness, session lifecycle, and fleet definitions for simulators and VMs Automate image, browser, and payload releases through CI/CD pipelines with automated checks; ship in Go or Python using repeatable deployment paths Build and use observability tooling across the fleet and image build pipeline, including for guests and VMs that fail silently before their payload starts Identify root causes and fix recurring lifecycle regressions with tests and automated release checks Measure and reduce device boot, ready, and teardown times; manage image and side-disk footprint Work with the Cloud and Test Orchestration teams to propose and implement evidence-backed changes to systems outside the team’s ownership, keeping layer contracts explicit
