Software engineer at PointOne, an AI revenue platform for professional services (law firms), building novel AI products in-person in New York City. The role involves owning critical projects and full products, working directly with customers, and mentoring future hires.
ABOUT POINTONE
PointOne is the AI revenue platform for professional services.
We’re a Tier 1 venture-backed startup (Y Combinator, Bessemer, 8VC, General Catalyst) that has raised over $20M and grown revenue over 17x over the past 12 months.
WHO YOU ARE
You have:
- 2-5 years of experience at hyper-growth startups and/or leading big tech companies
- A CS degree from a top university
- Strong product sense
- High degree of ownership and the ability to operate autonomously
WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN
Growth: Our engineers drive the company. You will be expected to quickly take ownership of critical projects and ramp up to own entire products or customers.
Impact: A lot of AI tools have trouble showing real impact. Not us—we deliver hard ROI to our customers (which is one reason why we're one of the stickiest tools in a law firm).
Equity: We want to bet on ourselves and our employees—we offer a highly competitive equity component with any compensation package. We are looking for true builders and innovators.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop novel AI products, providing customers with entirely new workflows.
- Work directly with customers to understand needs, prioritize requests, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead by example through mentoring future hires, pairing, and code reviews. You'll shape our engineering culture.
You're excited to work in-person, talk to customers, and drive the development of the next frontier of AI tools.
The compensation for this position is determined by multiple factors, including prior experience and expertise. A competitive equity component will also be offered as part of the package.
Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, meals in office, regular team events, a personal wellness fund, a personal learning fund, and more!
