Role Description
Salesforce is seeking an exceptional Member of Technical Staff (MTS) & Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) to serve as a lead and contributor for our next-generation Cybersecurity Data Platform. In this high-impact individual contributor (IC) role, you will be responsible for the technical design and hands-on implementation of a scalable, high-quality platform that powers critical security data flows. You will act as a technical pillar, building core capabilities including data ingestion, processing, storage, APIs, and analytics integration, ensuring the system is both robust and developer-friendly.

You will drive the platform's technical evolution, solving complex distributed systems challenges and working cross-functionally with data producers and consumers to ensure seamless integration. While this is an IC role, your influence will be broad; you will provide technical guidance to peers, set engineering standards, and help envision the transition of this platform into a multi-tenant SaaS product. Your work will empower internal stakeholders and ensure Salesforce scales its business impact securely and efficiently.

Define and implement robust monitoring, alerting, and automated testing frameworks to guarantee data integrity and platform reliability.
Perform deep-dive performance tuning and cost-optimization across all platform components and cloud infrastructure.
Technical Mentorship & Quality
