Software Engineer

About us

We're RapiDr, a teleconsultation platform under Lumira Healthcare Group, building a vertically integrated healthcare ecosystem in Singapore with teleconsults, e-pharmacy and health screening, all connected. We serve 30,000 patients every month and are growing fast.

What we offer

We offer a competitive salary that matches market rate, because we believe good engineers should be paid fairly. Beyond that, you won't be boxed into one corner of the codebase, and you'll work across the full stack, web, mobile, and infrastructure, with real ownership from day one.

It's a small, fast-moving team with a senior technical lead close by, which means the learning curve is steep in the best way. Months here will teach you more than a year at a bigger company would. If you want range, autonomy, and work that actually ships and matters, this is a good place to find it.

Minimum qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Vue).

• Solid command of CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design.

• Good understanding of observability concepts.

• Excellent knowledge of database ORM implementation (Postgres) and Strong database skills (schema design, query optimisation, and understanding of relational models).

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP foundational services (Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.).

• Exposure to mobile development (React Native) or backend API design.

As a Software Engineer, You will

• Build end-to-end in-house teleconsultation platforms.

• Plan, Design, Code, Test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work.

• Perform Change Management to deploy applications to production.

• Participate in the support coverage as needed.

• Apply best practices, share your expertise and mentor other engineers.

What we are looking for

• Proven ability to build software - A portfolio of past work and personal projects carries far more importance than formal qualifications.

• Strong problem-solving through code - We value clear thinking, debugging instincts, and knowing the boundaries of an approach over arriving at a textbook-correct answer.

• Effective communication with engineers - working in a team means your solutions need to be understood, not just correct. You should be able to think and talk through code with others.
