About GetBlock
GetBlock builds critical infrastructure for the new digital economy. Singapore-based Web3 and AI infrastructure powering blockchains, protocols, and applications at a global scale — 1,000+ bare metal servers, global network coverage, and workloads that demand absolute stability, security, and performance.
We're looking for a Software Engineer to work across the entire stack - from customer-facing interfaces to backend services powering our platform. You'll split your time roughly 50/50 between frontend and backend work, building features end-to-end.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You'll own features from design collaboration through API implementation to production deployment. We value engineers who leverage modern AI tools to move faster and deliver better results.
Our Mission
GetBlock has been building since Q4 2019. We started with two BSC full nodes. Today we're a top 5 Web3 infrastructure platform — and we're not coasting. Our mission is to keep pushing: deeper network coverage, faster performance, and new products that move the blockchain world forward. We take pride in the infrastructure we've built and hold it to an uncompromising standard.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain customer-facing dashboard, billing system, internal tools, side-products
- Design and implement backend APIs and services in Go
- Collaborate closely with designers to translate Figma specs into polished, accessible UI
- Work with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, ArangoDB) to implement efficient data access patterns
- Coordinate with dedicated backend and frontend engineers on integrations and shared services
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code with attention to performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain engineering quality standards
- Continuously improve development workflows using AI tools and automation
Who We're Looking For
General Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial development experience across frontend and backend
- AI-first mindset: actively using AI coding assistants and agents in daily workflow to boost productivity and code quality
- Strong proficiency with Vue.js (Nuxt preferred) or React/, Javascript and Typescript
- Ability to own features end-to-end: from understanding requirements to shipping to production with minimal hand-holding
- Experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries
- Experience with edge computing platforms (Cloudflare Workers or similar)
- Strong async communication skills — you keep others in the loop without being asked
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and drive features to completion
Frontend Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Vue.js (Nuxt preferred) or React/Next.js
- Solid JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries
Backend Requirements
- Proficiency with Go for building APIs and backend services
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Familiarity with message brokers (NATS, Kafka, or similar)
- Understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
Would be a plus
- Web3 experience: wallet integrations, interacting with blockchain, working with RPC APIs
- CI/CD and containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with real-time data interfaces (WebSockets, polling, live updates)
- Experience working directly with product and design teams in a small-team environment
We value people with real skills, sharp judgment, and a high bar for their own work:
- Do now, fix later. You don't let the race for perfection slow you down. You know the right balance between fast delivery and quality.
- AI mindset. You use AI to make your work faster and better, and you're first in line to try something new.
- You don't work, you own. You spot problems, propose solutions, and lead the way.
- Execution speed. You move fast and decisively without breaking what matters.
How We Work
- Remote by Design. A fully distributed, international team working across time zones and continents. English is our shared language.
- Trust over Control. No trackers, no micromanagement. We hire self-driven professionals who take ownership and make decisions with confidence.
- Flexibility that Fits. Choose your holiday days, coordinate your schedule with your manager, and work approximately 40 hours a week in a way that suits you and your team.
- Inclusive Corporate Culture. Monthly town halls, Random Coffee meetings, and other events keep us connected despite the distance.
What We Offer
- Time to recharge. 20 days of annual leave and 12 personal days instead of a fixed public holiday calendar — take them for local celebrations, a loved one's birthday, or simply when you need a break. Plus paid sick leave when you need it.
- Work where you thrive. Coworking space and AI tools compensation to support your productivity.
- We invest in your growth. A personalized development roadmap and performance incentive bonuses tied to your impact.
- Well-being support. Programs to help you maintain health and balance.
