Motorola Solutions is seeking a frontend software engineer to develop and maintain mission-critical video management system infrastructure. The role focuses on building maintainable, scalable web interfaces using TypeScript, Vue 3, and Pinia within a hybrid work environment.
At Motorola Solutions, we believe that everything starts with our people. We’re a global close-knit community, united by the relentless pursuit to help keep people safer everywhere. We build and connect technologies to help protect people, property and places. Our solutions foster the collaboration that’s critical for safer communities, safer schools, safer hospitals, safer businesses, and ultimately, safer nations. Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.
The Avigilon Alta Video UI team is responsible for the mission‑critical infrastructure that powers our VMS. We are currently evolving our platform to support deep‑tier interconnection across the Motorola product portfolio. Our team values high‑performance engineering, architectural integrity, and a commitment to building the most reliable real‑time tools in the industry. While our stack features Vue 3, Pinia, and TypeScript on the frontend and Go on the backend, we prioritize engineering fundamentals over specific library knowledge. We are looking for a developer who can navigate logic, manage state, and help us build maintainable solutions. We have an office in Uxbridge (West London) and fully embrace a hybrid home/office working model, with an aim for 2 days in the office.

Develops, validates, and tests: can build tested, maintainable code and debug when necessary. Implements state management patterns and API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem. Delivery: basic understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment, Git. Communicates: comfortable collaborating with other teams on solutions and reaching out for information/requirements when necessary.
The team is distributed across geographies, and you’re happy working remotely part of the week. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace spawns innovation – the more diverse our employees are, the more ideas and talents we have to excel as a leader in the technology sector.
If you would like to be part of a dynamic team of people who are ambitious, focused, and hardworking then we look forward to meeting you! In return for your expertise, we’ll support you in this new challenge with coaching & development every step of the way.
