Software Engineer developing and porting autonomous software modules on embedded SoC platforms. Core tasks include hardware/software bring-up, optimizing perception models, and interfacing with automotive middleware using C/C++, QNX, and Linux.
You will design, develop, and port autonomous software modules across system-on-chip platforms. You will bring up embedded hardware and software, optimize perception models, interface with automotive middleware, and support vehicle, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and debug the autonomous stack on embedded compute platforms
- Optimize perception models for embedded performance with machine learning engineers
- Interface with automotive middleware and communication protocols
- Support vehicle operations and software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop setups
- Use AI-accelerated development tools and workflows
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on C/C++ experience in POSIX and RTOS environments
- Experience with automotive SoCs
- Low-level understanding of hardware accelerators, encoders, DSPs, and GPUs
- Knowledge of QNX and Linux
- Experience with microcontrollers, hardware debuggers, and flashing interfaces
