• Professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js.

• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, retries, idempotency, rate limiting, and failure recovery.

• Experience building software, libraries, APIs, or tools that other developers rely on in production.

• Strong appreciation for developer experience, including intuitive interfaces, clear error messages, useful documentation, and backward compatibility.

• Ability to approach AI agents as product users and consider their requirements around discovery, usability, and security.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into focused, practical solutions.

• Clear communication skills, openness to feedback, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Experience with open-source projects or external developer communities is a plus.

Benefits

• Fully remote position, with eligibility for candidates based in Canada.

• Compensation of $130,000–$160,000 USD, depending on location and experience.

• Opportunity to work with an international, distributed engineering team.

• Meaningful autonomy to influence technical decisions and own projects from discovery through production.

• Close collaboration with developers who actively use the tools and products you build.

• A culture centered on thoughtful feedback, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.

• High standards for product quality, reliability, usability, and engineering craft.

• Opportunities to work across SDKs, APIs, CLI tooling, MCP, integrations, and developer experience.

• Some travel may be expected for team offsites, conferences, meetups, and related events.

• Exposure to a modern developer-focused technology environment and opportunities to expand your technical scope.
