Requirements:- Around 3–5 years of commercial software development experience
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, Java, or similar
- Interest in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies
- Experience with software development, testing, and CI/CD
- Degree or background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an engineering-related field
- Confidence working independently and collaborating with engineers from different disciplines
- Experience in an SME, start-up, or product development environment is particularly appealing
- Must have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship, now or in the future
- Design and develop software applications and tools
- Explore how AI, automation, and emerging technologies can support R&D and product development
- Work with engineers to understand technical challenges and develop practical solutions
- Improve existing systems, processes, and software capabilities
- Own projects from initial ideas through development, testing, and implementation
- Help introduce software, AI, and technology-led solutions to support medical device development and wider business improvements
