Experienced engineer on DoorDash's Cloud Infrastructure team building and operating the foundational multi-cloud platform (AWS/GCP accounts, networking, IAM, Terraform) that every engineering team builds on, plus 'cloud solutions engineering' to unblock complex cloud needs. Hybrid role based at the NYC, Seattle, or Bay Area hubs.
Help us build the world's most reliable, on-demand logistics engine for last-mile delivery! We're bringing on experienced engineers to help us create and maintain a 24x7, no downtime, global infrastructure system that powers DoorDash’s three-sided marketplace of consumers, merchants, and dashers.
We also offer “cloud solutions engineering”: we unblock teams across DoorDash with novel or complex cloud needs, from multi-cloud deployments and cross-cloud credential vending to multi-region sFTP. You will partner directly with teams across the company to take a need from an ambiguous request to production, and mature the most common ones into platform products that can be adopted widely.
This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security, and developer experience. It includes designing, building, and operating systems that must be reliable, secure, easy-to-use, and cost-efficient.
You will report to the Engineering Manager of the Cloud Infrastructure team within the Infrastructure organization. This role is hybrid working from our New York City engineering hub.
