Owns sensor calibration for Applied Intuition's multi-platform vehicle fleet in Sunnyvale: building cloud workflow orchestration, automated sensor data-health gates, and self-service internal tooling, while debugging production issues across cloud and vehicle systems. Core stack is Python, modern C++, and cloud infrastructure with robotics/sensor data.
You will own calibration work across a multi-platform fleet, diagnose production failures, and create reusable workflows. You will build and operate cloud orchestration, automated sensor data-health gates, and self-service tooling, while tracing issues across cloud and vehicle systems and partnering with build, hardware, and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
Onboard vehicle types and convert production learnings into reusable workflows
Trace production failures and drive cross-team reliability improvements
Build and operate cloud workflow orchestration for fleet-scale calibration
Design automated data-health gates for sensor data
Ship self-service tooling for internal users
Debug root causes across cloud orchestration, application logs, and vehicle sensors
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
4+ years building and operating production software systems
Strong Python and modern C++ skills
Experience owning a pipeline, platform, or internal tool used by other teams
Experience with cloud workflow orchestration, CI/CD, containerization, and large binary or log-data pipelines
Systems debugging experience using logs
Sensor and robotics data literacy for IMU/INS, GNSS/RTK, lidar, and camera data
Experience with physical systems, sensors, or hardware-in-the-loop
