LiveFlow is building the next-generation accounting and finance platform - enabling lean finance teams to run massive enterprises.
We’ve raised over $21M from top-tier investors including YC, YC Continuity, Valar, Seedcamp, WndrCo, Moonfire, and Bradley Horowitz (VP Product, Google).
Today, thousands of companies rely on LiveFlow to streamline their financial workflows, with hundreds of 5/5 ratings on G2.
Our founding team previously worked at Revolut, one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs.
At LiveFlow, we expect more from engineers than writing and reading code. You’ll work closely with customers and help shape the product to solve their problems.
We’re looking for people who are not only comfortable with uncertainty, but actively thrive in it. You should want to ship unreasonably fast and iterate rapidly. You should challenge assumptions, solve from first principles, and take great pride in building features that customers love.
You’ll work as closely with a team of talented engineers as you will with product and design. You’ll quickly accrue autonomy and responsibility.
We’re hiring Software Engineers to build AI agents that power the next generation of LiveFlow.
This is a full-stack role at its core, with a strong focus on designing and developing agent-driven systems embedded deeply and throughout the product.
We’re not just slapping on a chatbox and calling it AI-native, we’re building a system of collaborating agents, with precision tools and robust auditability, giving our users superpowers they can deploy with confidence. We’re reimaging how finance teams will operate.
Understanding customer workflows, use-cases and jobs to be done
Building AI agents to simplify and eliminate tedious and error-prone tasks
Developing the realtime platform for finance teams to work together and with agents
Designing and scaling APIs and CLI to enable interoperability
Contributing to compounding engineering practices that enable our team to operate more efficiently and effectively
Ensuring high standards of data security, reliability, and compliance
In Engineering:
We offer unlimited budget to use and explore the latest coding tools
You can work with whatever agents and environment you prefer, locally or in the cloud
We employ the principles of compound engineering, expecting everybody to invest in bettering the agentic coding environment, through docs, skills, tools and MCP
We use Linear to spec our work, Graphite for stacked PRs and better review UX, Cubic for assisted code review, Blacksmith to run our CI/CD
In the Product:
Anything a user can do, an agent should be able to do – through tool calls, APIs and CLI
Like software, the work of accounting is changing from the acts of writing and doing to the acts of reading and reviewing – we’re building to enable that future
Accuracy, auditability and security remain non-negotiable
Speed, efficiency and thoughtful simplicity are how we stand out
Backend: Elixir / Phoenix
Frontend: Next.js, TypeScript
Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform
We don’t expect experience in everything.
If you’ve worked with functional languages, frameworks like Rails/Django, or modern frontend stacks, you’ll ramp quickly. What matters most is your ability to learn, adapt, and build.
Strong software engineering fundamentals
Experience building with AI agents, LLM-powered systems, or workflow automation
Product mindset – you care about users and outcomes, not just implementation
Ability to operate in fast-paced environment where we embrace uncertainty
High ownership and willingness to wear multiple hats
Intuition for when to follow best practices and when to rethink them
