Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., originally creating the best-selling Kindle family of products. Since then, we have produced devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, Dash Button, Amazon Echo and Alexa. What will you help us create?
Are you passionate about protecting millions of Amazon customers? Do you thrive at the intersection of security and innovation? We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to build security software for our device services (Echo, Fire TV, and more). In this role, you will collaborate with Security Engineers and Applied Scientists to design and implement security features that safeguard our device platform and its backend services in AWS against evolving threats.
To push the boundaries of what's possible, you will explore LLM and machine learning techniques—including supervised and unsupervised learning and model optimization—to identify and neutralize malicious patterns at scale. You will also build backend web services to support data collection and real-time analysis.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for innovation, and have the highest standards for software development, this position will give you the opportunity to design and build security software to protect millions of Amazon devices.
