Software Developer on PEER Group's Engineering Services team building, configuring, integrating, and testing C#/.NET factory and tool automation software for semiconductor customers. Day-to-day spans backend integrations via WCF/REST APIs, multi-threaded distributed solutions, testing, documentation, deployment support, and customer collaboration.

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Engineering Services team and contribute to best-in-class software applications for the semiconductor industry. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will work as part of a collaborative team solving complex factory and tool automation challenges for customers.
As a Software Developer, you will contribute to software integration projects in the semiconductor industry, developing, configuring, integrating, and testing industrial applications that support factory and tool automation. You will work with C#,.NET Framework, and related technologies to build multi-tiered, distributed solutions while collaborating with team members and customers to understand requirements, support integrations, and resolve technical issues.

You bring curiosity, strong fundamentals, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering quality work as part of a collaborative team.
This position will be responsible to support PEER in completing a specific customer assignment. As a precondition of employment, PEER’s customer must review and approve the successful candidate’s appointment. As part of that approval process, the customer must be satisfied that the candidate is able to perform the work at issue in full compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”). The salary range for this role is $70,000 – $102,000CAD annually, reflecting the scope of the role, location-based market conditions, internal equity and the skills and experience a candidate brings. Compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, demonstrated high-performance contributions, and overall alignment within the role category.
