Early-to-mid-career developer at APG Cash Drawer building and maintaining software for connected point-of-sale hardware — Android apps, IoT device connectivity, APIs/SDKs, and Windows/Linux tooling. Daily work spans embedded/mobile development, device integration (USB, Bluetooth), and troubleshooting across software and hardware.
apg is looking for a Software Developer to support the design, development, integration, and ongoing support of software solutions for our connected devices and technology platforms. In this role, you will work across embedded application software, IoT connectivity, mobile applications, operating systems, APIs, and hardware interfaces to help deliver reliable, scalable, and user-focused technology solutions.

What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain software applications for connected devices.
• Develop and integrate Android applications, with additional work across Windows and Linux environments.
• Work with IoT devices, peripherals, and device communications.
• Develop and integrate APIs, SDKs, and third-party technologies.
• Support USB protocols and device connectivity.
• Troubleshoot issues involving software, operating systems, networks, connected devices, and hardware.
• Work with cloud, web-hosting, and backend environments.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, product, and technology teams.
• Develop testing, documentation, and support tools for production systems.
