About Ubiminds

Ubiminds is a GPTW-certified, people-first company that partners with American software product companies to scale their development teams. We connect Brazil’s top 5% talent with innovative U.S. companies through a unique combination of staff augmentation and employer-of-record services.

We are supporting a cutting-edge company building an AI-first coding platform (think Replit) and looking for a Software Architect with strong AI/Agentic experience to lead this initiative.

Challenge

We’re looking for a Software Architect who can design the future of software development—where autonomous AI agents and human developers collaborate seamlessly.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of AI, system design, and developer platforms, and is excited to build systems where agents can plan, write, test, and deploy code autonomously.

You will play a key role in defining how agentic workflows, LLM reasoning loops, and developer tooling come together in a scalable, production-grade platform.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and lead the development of an AI-first coding platform.

• Design systems where AI agents and developers collaborate in real time.

• Build and implement agentic systems capable of:

  • Planning tasks

  • Writing code

  • Running tests

  • Deploying applications

• Integrate LLMs (especially Claude) into production workflows.

• Design tool-use (function calling) and agent orchestration layers.

• Implement strategies for long-context management and multi-step reasoning loops.

• Define architecture for scalable, distributed AI systems on AWS.

• Evaluate when to leverage .NET or alternative ecosystems, ensuring the best tool for each challenge.

• Work closely with engineering teams to bring architecture into production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Software Architect or Staff+ Engineer.

• Proven experience building or designing AI/agentic systems.

• Deep understanding of:

  • LLM integrations (especially Claude or similar models)

  • Function calling / tool-use patterns

  • Agent orchestration and reasoning loops

  • Prompt engineering and context management

• Hands-on experience with AWS and complex cloud-native architectures.

• Strong background in distributed systems and scalable platform design.

• Experience working across different stacks (current foundation in .NET, but openness to other ecosystems).

• Ability to make high-impact architectural decisions in fast-evolving environments.

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction.

• English proficiency at C1 level (written and verbal).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building developer platforms or coding tools.

• Familiarity with tools like Replit, Cursor, or AI-assisted IDEs.

• Experience with multi-agent systems or orchestration frameworks.

• Background in DevOps automation or CI/CD pipelines powered by AI.

• Exposure to product-led engineering environments.

Why Join

• Build a next-generation AI coding platform from the ground up.

• Work at the forefront of agentic AI and developer experience.

• Influence how AI transforms software engineering workflows.

• Join a highly innovative environment with high ownership and technical autonomy.

• Collaborate with top-tier engineers on cutting-edge AI systems.
