Behavioural fit is also important at Sleek, and we will be looking for candidates that have a proven track record of embodying the below attributes in their recent roles:

Ownership and reliability: We take full responsibility for our work and outcomes. Ownership means proactively stepping up, following through on commitments, and seeing tasks through from start to finish without needing constant direction. Reliability is about being someone others can depend on—delivering consistently, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards. Together, this mindset builds trust within the team and ensures the community experience is always well-supported and dependable.

Humility: There is so much we don’t know. Humility allows for open-mindedness to feedback and a willingness to learn from others. It paves the way for collaboration and creates a positive work environment. It is a key ingredient of self awareness and emotional intelligence.

People-first mindset: We believe communities are built around people, not platforms. A people-first mindset means genuinely caring about the experiences, needs, and growth of our members. It’s about listening actively, creating value for others, and always considering how our actions improve the community experience. This mindset helps build trust, belonging, and long-term engagement.

Analytical and data-driven: We make decisions based on insights, not assumptions. Being analytical and data-driven means using community metrics, feedback, and trends to understand what’s working and what isn’t. It helps us continuously improve engagement, optimise initiatives, and create more meaningful impact for our members and the business.

Collaborative: We believe the best outcomes are achieved together. Collaboration means working openly across teams, sharing ideas, and leveraging diverse perspectives to build stronger communities. It encourages transparency, alignment, and collective ownership in delivering the best experience for our members.

Can have tough conversations in a positive way: It’s not a matter of if, but when difficult interpersonal situations arise. Disagreement, conflict and disappointment are a given in a fast moving business where people care about their work. People that proactively have tough conversations with kindness build empathy, trust and great working relationships.

The interview process

The successful candidate will participate in the below interview stages. We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish.

Whether the interviews are held over video call or in person will depend on your location and the role.

One-way Video Interview

Shortlisted candidates will receive an invitation to complete a one-way video interview. This step allows us to review your skills and background early in the process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all applicants.

Screening Call

A ~30-minute screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team to discuss your background, evaluate mutual fit for the role, address expectations, and answer your questions.

Soft Skills Assessment

A ~45 minute chat with the hiring manager, where they will dive into some of your recent work situations to understand how you think and work.

Reference Verification
Prior to final offer confirmation, we will conduct one professional reference check with your recent direct manager or supervisor. To keep the process moving smoothly, this step may be initiated during the final interview stages.
