The role is responsible for managing design coordination, technical reviews, design changes, and site support to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design Coordination
- Coordinate between architectural, structural, MEP, interior, landscape, and specialist consultants for design integration.
- Review construction drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.
- Ensure timely resolution of design-related issues arising during construction.
- Manage RFIs, design clarifications, and technical correspondence between stakeholders.
- Track design deliverables and monitor compliance with project timelines.
Site Support
- Identify design conflicts and coordinate corrective actions with consultants and contractors.
- Support implementation of design revisions and change requests.
- Monitor architectural finishes and ensure adherence to design intent.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, contractors, design consultants, and project management teams.
- Participate in design review, progress, and coordination meetings.
- Prepare design status reports and track open technical issues.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, airport authority requirements, and project specifications.
- Support quality inspections, snagging, and handover activities.
- Verify that approved materials and systems are incorporated into the works.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.).
- 7-10 years of experience in design coordination, architectural site support, or construction administration.
- Experience in airports, transportation hubs, commercial buildings, or large infrastructure projects preferred.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary design coordination in consultancy environments.
