You will work closely with hardware design, PCB layout, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure that our products meet stringent electrical performance standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis for high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, SAS/SATA, etc.) using simulation tools.
Collaborate with hardware and PCB layout engineers to optimize design for signal integrity, including stack-up definition, trace routing, via design, and connector selection.
Generate simulation models and perform pre- and post-layout simulations to identify and address potential SI/PI issues.
Define and review PCB design rules and guidelines to ensure compliance with HPE and industry standards.
Develop test plans and perform SI/PI lab measurements and validation using oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, and other high-speed measurement equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve SI/PI issues during product development and validation phases.

- Solid understanding of high-speed digital design concepts, transmission line theory, and electromagnetic fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with SI/PI simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, Cadence Sigrity, Ansys HFSS, Mentor HyperLynx, etc.).
- Experience with high-speed measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, TDR, VNA, etc.).
- Experience in PCB design and layout is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
