ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Production –
a. Perform product assembly as required and to specifications.
b. Follow Standard Operating Procedures relating to assigned assembly tasks.
c. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per department and OSHA standards.
d. Assemble materials into finished products efficiently and on time, using quality control best practices.
e. Work with supervisor and team to ensure production assembly remains consistent and timeline expectations for the contract.
2. Production Support –
a. Assist with pre-production set up and support efficiencies continuously.
b. Forklift operation to move raw materials to assembly area
c. Forklift operation to move finished products to storage area
d. Assist with unloading materials and finished product preparation for shipping as directed by supervisor.
3. Other duties as assigned
a. Additional tasks as assigned, within the scope of the role, team, and contract.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
o 2 or more years’ experience in production assembly.
o 2 or more years’ experience in operating forklifts.
o Current, in date forklift operation certification.
o Experience working with a diverse work force, including adults with disabilities.
o Ability to pass drug screening and criminal history background check, and/or fingerprinting as appropriate at any time during employment
o Excellent time management skills.
o Reliable and consistent attendance
o Reliable transportation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
o 5 or more years’ experience in production assembly.
o 5 or more years’ experience in forklift operations in a production environment.
o 5 or more years’ experience in forklift operations in a warehouse environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of production.
Knowledge of basic safety practices in production environments.
Skilled in efficient production.
Skilled in regular use of personal protective equipment in production.
Ability to assemble consistently at quality standards consistently.
Ability to safely operate a forklift.
Ability to walk or stand 75% of the time.
Ability to model and act within Relay’s standards, values, and expectations at all times.
SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITY
Performs duties both independently and collaboratively as directed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Ability to work with maximum supervision and limited independent decision making.
