High-level summary

We are looking for a hands-on Shopify Plus and Klaviyo Manager who can independently manage and improve the company's e-commerce platform, lifecycle marketing systems, and digital operations.
This role requires strong, proven experience with both Shopify Plus and Klaviyo. Candidates who are primarily email marketers with limited Shopify Plus ownership will not be a fit.
The person in this role will manage Shopify Plus storefront operations, technical and merchandising updates, Klaviyo email and SMS automation, conversion optimization, testing, analytics, and AI-supported e-commerce workflows.
The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal supervision, troubleshoot issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide regular updates on performance, completed work, blockers, and upcoming priorities.

About the Company:

Operates two e-commerce brands in the brain health and wellness space.

The company requires clear, credible, and brand-compliant digital messaging that communicates physical mechanics of brain health and wellness in a professional and trustworthy way.

This role will support e-commerce growth and operations through Shopify Plus platform management, Klaviyo lifecycle marketing, conversion optimization, AI-supported workflows, site updates, automation, and customer communications.

Company core values:

• Credibility and trust — values clear, professional messaging that supports customer confidence in health and wellness products.
• Performance-driven growth — focuses on measurable e-commerce outcomes such as conversion rate, average order value, click-through rate, customer lifetime value, and email revenue contribution.
• Operational excellence — keeps Shopify storefronts, product information, apps, and customer journeys running smoothly and efficiently.
• Brand discipline — maintains clean visual standards, compliant messaging, and a user experience that is professional, clear, and uncluttered.
• Proactive ownership — values independent execution, structured communication, and regular updates on progress, performance, and next steps.

Objective of this role:

• Own day-to-day Shopify Plus platform management and storefront operations.
• Manage product, inventory, merchandising, application, theme, and storefront updates.
• Build, maintain, test, and optimize advanced Klaviyo email and SMS lifecycle automation.
• Improve conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value through testing and performance analysis.
• Identify and implement AI-supported workflows that improve marketing, e-commerce operations, analysis, or customer experience.
• Maintain professional, credible, and conversion-focused customer communications.
• Work independently while providing structured updates on progress, performance, blockers, and priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform storefront and theme adjustments while maintaining usability, site structure, and performance.
• Support minor front-end updates and technical changes when required.
• Manage landing pages, promotional updates, merchandising changes, and conversion-focused site improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve storefront performance, customer experience, and conversion.
• Use Shopify Plus data to analyze customer behavior, purchasing patterns, merchandising performance, and conversion opportunities.
• Work independently inside Shopify Plus rather than relying on constant developer or manager support for routine platform management.

Klaviyo flow architecture and segmentation

• Build, maintain, test, and optimize advanced Klaviyo lifecycle flows.
• Manage welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, retention, and other automated customer journeys.
• Build multi-step flows using conditional logic and customer behavior.
• Create advanced segments based on purchase history, engagement, customer lifecycle stage, product behavior, and other relevant customer data.

Email marketing and campaign execution

• Create, schedule, and manage email campaigns and promotional sends through Klaviyo.

• Create compelling subject lines, calls to action, and customer-facing messaging.
• Coordinate campaign timing around promotions, product availability, seasonal opportunities, and business priorities.

AI Integration and Automation

• Identify practical opportunities to use AI within Shopify, Klaviyo, e-commerce operations, marketing, reporting, or customer lifecycle workflows.
• Use AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, analysis, content production, personalization, automation, or operational processes.

• Provide recommendations based on Shopify, Klaviyo, and customer behavior data.

Conversion Copywriting and Visual Standards

• Write or refine email, SMS, landing page, and storefront copy.
• Communicate brain health and wellness concepts clearly and professionally.
• Maintain brand credibility while creating persuasive customer messaging.
