SharePoint Online & Front-End Developer (SPFx/React)

World Food Programme is seeking a SharePoint and Front‑End Developer to design, develop and maintain secure, accessible digital solutions for OIG. The consultant will combine SPFx, TypeScript and React with Microsoft 365 services to translate business needs into scalable, user‑friendly interfaces and automated processes.

Working in the Rome headquarters, you will collaborate with auditors, investigators and IT specialists, delivering documentation, tests and deployment support while upholding

Design and maintain modern SharePoint Online sites, hubs, pages, lists, libraries and navigation. Develop SPFx web parts and extensions using TypeScript and React. Build responsive front-end interfaces with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript; ensure accessibility and usability. Automate workflows and integrate solutions with Power Platform and Microsoft Graph. Prepare documentation, testing, deployment support and knowledge transfer. Coordinate with WFP technology teams and ensure governance and security requirements. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and support ongoing improvements. Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; strong software development background. Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and modern web technologies required. Experience integrating SharePoint with Graph, REST APIs and 365 services.
