Job Summary
Deliver warm, attentive, and responsive service that creates exceptional dining experiences for every Klavon’s guest. Servers are responsible for guiding guests through the menu with confidence, anticipating needs, maintaining a clean and organized section, and ensuring accuracy from order entry to payment. Job Summary
Deliver warm, attentive, and responsive service that creates exceptional dining experiences for every Klavon’s guest. Servers are responsible for guiding guests through the menu with confidence, anticipating needs, maintaining a clean and organized section, and ensuring accuracy from order entry to payment. By upholding the highest standards of professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality, our Servers create a seamless experience that leaves each guest feeling valued, cared for, and excited to return.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete guest-focused side work before, during, and after each shift
- Set up and maintain service stations and assigned section (silverware, condiments, plates, etc.)
- Accurately take, enter, and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience, including table maintenance and beverage refills
- Maintain cleanliness by pre-bussing and resetting tables efficiently
- Process payments accurately using the POS system
- Uphold all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service standards
- Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings and stay updated on menu changes and company communications
- Provide detailed menu descriptions and practice suggestive selling
- Communicate guest concerns promptly to management
- Support team members by running food, assisting with guests, and maintaining a collaborative work environment
- Conclude each experience by thanking guests and inviting them to return
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards
- Remain flexible and assist as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol and maintain current TIPS certification
- Possess basic math skills with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift 20–25 pounds
- Prior experience providing excellent guest service with a basic understanding of dining room operations
- Ability to multitask efficiently while remaining courteous and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with guests, coworkers, and management
- Positive, engaging personality with a team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work nights and weekends
