SEO/GEO Manager

LOOP is a digital-first lead agency, exploring the intersections between design, technology and digital brand building for leading brands. With a team of 400 digital talents and through data driven marketing, we help brave clients to stand out in the digital age. Over the last few years our brilliant team has done remarkable and innovative work for internationally recognised high-profile brands such as Puma, Audi, Breitling, Red Bull and numerous others.

At LOOP, we see search as a constantly evolving ecosystem — where technical excellence, great content and AI-driven discovery increasingly shape how brands get found, understood and chosen. We’re looking for an SEO/GEO Manager who’s as comfortable diving into Core Web Vitals as they are reverse engineering why an LLM surfaces a competitor instead of us.

In this role, you’ll shape organic and AI-search visibility across a portfolio of international brands. Working across strategy, technology, content and data, you’ll turn a rapidly shifting search landscape into clear opportunities, smart action and measurable growth — helping brands stay visible wherever their audiences are searching.

Requirements

• Own Search Strategy. Lead integrated SEO and GEO roadmaps across international client accounts, from research and audits through implementation, optimization and reporting.
• Master Technical SEO. Analyze and improve crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals and overall performance — turning technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Win in AI Search. Develop, test and evolve strategies that increase brand visibility and citations across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and emerging AI-search platforms.
• Build Search-First Content. Partner with copywriters and creative teams to develop topical authority, optimize content experiences and create work that performs for people, search engines and AI-powered discovery.
• Turn Data into Direction. Use tools like GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Rankscale to uncover opportunities, track performance and translate data into meaningful action.
• Lead with Clarity. Present strategies, facilitate workshops and turn complex SEO and GEO insights into clear priorities, decisions and next steps for clients and internal teams.
• Bring Proven Expertise. Bring several years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally agency-side, with strong technical and analytical skills — plus fluent English and native-level German communication.

Benefits

• 4-day Workweek: At LOOP you can choose between a 5-day or a 4-day workweek – and have the freedom to switch between these models twice a year.
• Free Sports and Fitness: Yoga, fitness, climbing, tennis and more. LOOP covers the costs and gives you access to fitness studios and sports facilities across Austria or Germany.
• +20% Vacation: We don’t believe there can be enough time to recharge, that’s why all our team members get +20% vacation days per year, we call it Sunny Hours.
• 4000+ m² Office Space: Our loft space is part of our identity. An ideal environment for working, collaborating and finding inspiration — with an additional 600m² film- and photo studio.
• 100% Hybrid Work: Home office or LOOP office space? It’s your choice every day, and you don’t even need approval.
• International and Diverse: Team members from 40+ different nationalities in 7 locations, English as main language and a 55% female leadership quota.
• And much more: Language Courses, Visa Support, LOOP.Horizon workshops and trainings, Klimaticket Contribution, Audiobook Library, Headspace App Subscription, etc.

At LOOP, we believe great work deserves fair pay — and that transparency builds trust. For this role, the gross annual starting salary (full-time, based in Austria) is EUR 45,000. That’s our baseline for candidates who meet the key requirements. If you bring more to the table — deeper experience, sharper skills — we’re ready to reflect that in your offer. Our internal compensation framework is designed to keep things fair, structured, and clear.

So, if you are motivated to join the LOOP Team, we are happy to offer you a position as a SEO/GEO Manager in Salzburg or Vienna. We are looking forward to receiving your online application!
