At Discovered Labs we work with $10M - $50M ARR companies to help them get more leads, users and customers from Google, Bing and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity.
We do this through a mixture of technical optimisations, content marketing, and off-site brand amplification (PR, backlinks, Reddit marketing).
AI automation and workflows: We build marketing programs as we would a product. Rather than waste several hours per week on repetitive tasks, we create workflows with custom technology that allow us to focus on the high-impact stuff.
Senior expertise: To ensure everything is done to a high-standard and differentiated, everything we do is managed and elevated by a team of experts. We don’t let automation get in the way of quality.
Full-stack: SEO and AEO rarely work as isolated tasks. We work across the entire funnel and multiple surface areas to ensure we own the outcome and clients win.
We’re looking for a SEO Content Editor who will own the quality assurance and publishing layer of our content engine for an assigned portfolio of B2B clients.
You’ll review AI-assisted content before it reaches clients or gets published, catch issues that could hurt performance or trust, and make sure every article is accurate, well-presented, on-brand, and technically sound. You’ll also help us improve the systems and workflows behind content production so quality scales with output.
This role is fully remote, ideally your timezone is within +/- 4 hours of GMT.
You want a pure writing role. This role is primarily about editing, quality assurance, and publishing rather than drafting articles from scratch.
You’re not naturally detail-oriented. We’re looking for someone who catches the errors, inconsistencies, and weak spots other people miss.
You don’t enjoy working inside CMS platforms and operational workflows. A big part of this role is getting content live accurately and efficiently.
You need heavy management. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, communicate proactively, and keep standards high in a fast-moving environment.
Help maintain a 95%+ client approval rate on published articles by applying rigorous quality assurance before delivery.
Quality check AI-assisted articles before client delivery and publishing, ensuring they meet our standards for accuracy, clarity, readability, and brand voice.
Catch and fix critical issues including broken links, missing metadata, weak internal linking, poor anchor text choices, formatting issues, and factual inaccuracies.
Ensure zero AI hallucinations make it into published content by reviewing claims, spotting inconsistencies, and flagging anything that needs further validation.
Publish 3-5 articles per day across multiple client CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, and custom systems with zero publishing errors.
Optimise images, alt text, metadata, structured data, headings, and on-page presentation so content is both search-friendly and easy to read.
Transform article presentation using bullets, bold text, tables, and other formatting improvements to create a better user experience.
Keep the team informed through clear Slack updates and maintain organised logs of QA activity, publishing activity, and client feedback.
Identify recurring issues in AI-assisted content and suggest improvements to prompts, workflows, and quality assurance processes.
You have extremely high standards. You care about the final output and treat quality as non-negotiable.
You have strong editorial judgment. You can spot awkward phrasing, weak structure, unclear logic, and brand voice mismatches quickly.
You understand SEO fundamentals. You know what can hurt content performance and how to improve on-page elements before something goes live.
You think in systems and patterns. You notice recurring issues in content and want to fix the root cause rather than solve the same problem over and over.
You’re comfortable with AI. You understand the strengths and weaknesses of AI-generated content and know that speed only matters if quality stays high.
You’re reliable and self-directed. You communicate clearly, manage your own work, and keep things moving without being chased.
You’re a team player. You can take and provide feedback without egos getting involved.
Hands-on experience editing and publishing SEO content to a high standard
Strong understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals including metadata, headings, internal linking, anchor text, and URL structure
Ability to identify and correct factual inaccuracies, weak claims, and AI-generated hallucinations
Experience working across CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar systems
Strong English editing and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and a quality assurance mindset
Ability to work independently, document your work clearly, and communicate proactively in Slack
Agency experience working across multiple client accounts
Experience with Notion and content operations workflows
Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics 4
Experience improving editorial workflows, QA checklists, or AI prompting systems
Search has fundamentally changed. Google and backlinks are important but no longer the full picture - AI search is a new frontier and you're excited about that shift.
AI is a force multiplier, not a crutch. You're actively using AI tools to move faster and think better, but you also know strong human judgment is what keeps the quality bar high.
Intensity without hustle culture. We work hard because we’re high-performers, not because someone's watching. Everyone here is in the weeds, operating with urgency.
You get satisfaction from shipping polished work at a high standard. You see process gaps and fix them without being asked. You proactively communicate, move fast, and care about the details that compound into better client outcomes.
You need heavy management. You prefer messy execution over operational discipline. You think AI-generated content can be published with minimal review. You wait for perfect instructions before acting.
Salary range: $1,300–$2,000 USD per month, depending on experience.

First-hand insight into what a winning SEO and AEO content operation looks like
We’re not a typical SEO agency. You’ll get a front row seat working in a company that’s truly tech forward. Here’s what makes us different:
AI-native from day one. One of our co-founders is ex-Stanford AI. We don't bolt AI onto old processes, we build around it. We’re building a tech-first agency.
We build our own tools. We're constantly designing systems that scale quality without shipping AI slop. Engineering and ops thinking is part of the culture.
Going against the norm. Most SEO agencies ship 5–10 blogs a month per client. We ship 20–60+ because we've built the systems to do it well, with objective data to show it works better than the old operating model.
Everyone has a scorecard. We're relentlessly data-driven. Every person tracks leading metrics so we catch problems early and stay aligned.
We share what we learn. We publish our methodologies because we believe transparency builds trust and a rising tide lifts all boats.Salary range: $1,300–$2,000 USD per month, depending on experience.
