Placements24 (a placement agency) is hiring a Senior Full Stack Web Developer for its client in Bloemfontein, South Africa. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications across front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript with React/Angular/Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Python/Django, or Java/Spring), plus databases, APIs, performance tuning, and mentoring junior developers
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Web Developer (Full Stack) to join their innovative technology team based in Bloemfontein. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. Design and implement efficient databases, APIs, and server-side logic. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code across the full stack. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to define and implement new features. Optimize application performance, security, and scalability. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development. Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js). Strong experience with back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring). Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and/or No SQL databases (e.g., Mongo DB).
