Senior Transformation Programme Manager - 18 Month Maximum Term Contract

If you also believe that everyone should be able to achieve their financial potential, then you’ll love contributing to CMC Markets’ company vision of providing the ultimate trading experience. Seize the opportunity to progress your career in the fintech industry by joining a global leader in CFD trading and share investing. Grow yourself personally and professionally with a company that’s growing with you, by global expansion and product offering.

As our Senior Transformation Programme Manager, you'll take real ownership of how CMC Markets improves the way it serves clients across ANZ, from the first diagnosis of a broken process through to a fully adopted, working solution.

One month you might be redesigning a client onboarding journey with Product and Technology. The next, you could be leading a vendor transition or presenting a business case to senior leaders. Few roles offer this breadth of experience in process design and stakeholder leadership, all inside a regulated financial services environment.

At the centre of it all is a company built on a simple belief: financial markets should be accessible to everyone. Every process you improve and every pilot you scale brings that mission closer for our clients and the colleagues who serve them.

Why You'll like working here

Just some of the reasons you’ll love working here include:

• Leave benefits: Accrue 5 additional annual leave entitlements each year called My Days, as well as enjoying 5 extra annual leave days once you pass 12 months. Enjoy your birthday off to spend time with family and friends, on us! Utilise a free annual charity day to give back to your community.

• $0 Trades: Staff & family trading accounts with CMC Markets Invest have access to the best brokerage rates in the market - $0 trades for all domestic and international equity orders!

• Continuous learning: Our L&D offering covers both technical and performance training, ensuring you're always learning new skills.

• Unlimited access to a dedicated benefits & wellbeing hub where you can save money through various retailer discounts, and make use of a variety of resources that will enhance your physical and mental wellbeing

• Collaboration: We believe that great things happen when smart people work together, that’s why we’ve made the decision to work five days in the office.

• Office perks: Help yourself to free breakfast cereals, condiments, and coffee to fuel your workday. Our culture club provides opportunities for everyone whether you’re into fitness, pizza making classes, socialising or bringing out your competitive side in trivia or lawn bowls!

What you’ll be working on

You'll lead the full transformation lifecycle across four connected areas:

• Strategy and mobilisation: Setting the scope, governance and integrated delivery plan for each initiative, and building the business case that justifies it.

• Process improvement and design: Diagnosing root causes through data and frontline workshops, then designing practical future-state journeys with Product, Technology and Data teams.

• Vendor management: Leading vendor onboarding and transition and protecting service continuity once live.

• Governance and stakeholder leadership: Running pilots through to scaled rollout, tracking benefits, and influencing senior stakeholders to secure timely decisions, all while keeping risk, compliance and audit-readiness front of mind.

What will help you be successful?

• You'll thrive here if you've led complex transformation or change programmes in a regulated financial services environment or another complex, client-facing business. You're comfortable juggling operational, technology, data and vendor dependencies against tight timelines, and you know how to turn a business case and a risk register into real delivery. You read data well, you use it to find root causes, and you can influence senior stakeholders even without direct authority over them.

• Experience in trading, banking, wealth management or another client-service-intensive financial business is a bonus, as is exposure to client onboarding, workflow automation or case management improvements. A relevant degree or recognised programme, change, Lean or Six Sigma qualification will also stand you in good stead.

• You must have full working rights in Australia.

If you've been looking for your next Transformation Lead or Business Transformation Manager role, we'd love to hear from you.
