Senior Hardware Test Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining HIL test jigs, executing firmware tests, and collaborating with hardware/firmware/cloud teams to ensure CrisisAlert system reliability and compliance with ISO standards.

Purpose
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Test Engineer to join our team in Annapolis, MD at our testing center to help CENTEGIX continue to deliver on the quality customers expect from the CrisisAlert system. This position focuses on hands-on lab duties, test design, setup, and occasional 3D-printer / CNC fabrication.
Position Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain hardware and firmware for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test jigs.
- Apply industry-standard testing protocols for low-power embedded systems.
- Execute comprehensive test plans for firmware deployments, including system, regression, and low-power evaluations.
- Use lab equipment- oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and function generators- for signal-level diagnosis and debugging.
- Partner with hardware, firmware, and cloud teams to root-cause issues and confirm fixes.
- Develop and maintain automated test workflows triggered by Continuous Integration (CI).
- Maintain traceability between requirements and tests.
- Produce detailed test reports, results, and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
- Drive ongoing improvements in test coverage, product quality, and process effectiveness.
- Give clear, constructive feedback to advance the maturity of the testing process.
