The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tender Manager. In this role, you will shape and execute bid strategies for large, complex HVDC pursuits. You will lead a diverse team of technical and commercial experts, ensuring that Hitachi Energy’s offering is presented to clients in a clear and professional way.
“At Bid & Proposals, we lead the tendering of large-scale HVDC greenfield projects worldwide. My team focuses on the Northern European market and is based in Sweden and the UK. We play a key role in driving business growth, supporting net-zero targets, and helping secure Europe’s energy supply. We are involved from the early pursuit stage, identifying customer needs and translating them for the wider tender team so we can develop a strong technical and commercial bid built on our pioneering technology.” – Louise Hellman, Hiring Manager.
Your base will be in Ludvika or Västerås, Sweden, and you will be part of the HVDC product group within Hitachi Energy. HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.
Come as you are and be ready to learn. Bring your passion, your energy, and join a team that appreciates a simple truth: Diversity + Collaboration = Innovation.
