About Us

Dutch Vet is transforming veterinary care by making expert treatment accessible anytime, anywhere. Our mission is simple: help every pet live their happiest, healthiest life by connecting pet parents with licensed vets through seamless virtual visits.

We’re the only veterinary telemedicine service that can diagnose, prescribe, and ship medications directly to customers in most states. For less than $100 per year, Dutch offers real relief and convenience for pets and their families.

As one customer put it: “Dutch was the only site that would diagnose and prescribe meds as well as ship the meds.”

Here’s what other customers have said about Dutch Vet:

"The easiest vet visit you'll ever have.”

"More thorough than my in-person vet.”

"No nonsense, quick, easy and friendly veterinarian. Much cheaper than our regular local vet that couldn’t get us in. So glad I found Dutch!"

Backed by world-class investors including Forerunner Ventures, Eclipse Ventures, and Bling Capital, our team is made-up of successful startup founders (Hims, PlushCare, Nasty Gal) with expertise in scaling enterprises (TripAdvisor, Walmart, BARK). Featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, Wired, and Axios, Dutch is setting the standard for quality, accessibility, and compassion in pet care.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager who thrives on keeping many projects moving at once. Most of our work ships in weeks, not years: you'll run a steady stream of concurrent small-to-medium initiatives, partnering with engineering, product, design, marketing, and operations to drive each one from planning through execution and operational handoff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Run several concurrent projects at once (most measured in weeks, not quarters), keeping each one scoped, dated, and moving
Partner with engineering, product, and marketing leads to scope, plan, and track initiatives with rigor and transparency
Manage detailed execution of epics and sprints using Jira; maintain up-to-date and actionable boards
Create and manage dashboards, timelines, and communications that let stakeholders make informed decisions quickly
Facilitate planning cycles (quarterly and sprint-based) and retrospective processes
Roll up your sleeves to resolve blockers, debug operational issues, and ensure delivery across functions
Build, maintain, and improve documentation, team workspaces, and roadmaps
Help guide technical conversations; act as a trusted thought partner to engineering and product leadership
Drive alignment between Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, and Operations around scope and timelines
Uphold high standards of documentation and operational hygiene across all tools and teams
Cultivate a healthy team operating rhythm with proactive status updates, async documentation, and efficient meetings

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

5+ years of experience in a TPM role working closely with software engineering, product, and design teams
Startup or fast-scaling company experience, OR a proven track record of running many concurrent, short-cycle projects (rather than a single multi-year program)
Comfortable switching context across multiple projects and stakeholders in the same day without losing the thread
A strong sense of urgency and bias for action: you push work forward, chase down blockers, and don't wait to be asked
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and prioritizing ruthlessly in a fast-paced environment
Deep working knowledge of agile methodologies and modern product development practices
Direct experience managing and facilitating projects using Jira
Proven ability to dive deep into technical architecture and workflows; you're comfortable discussing tradeoffs with engineers
Strong command of data analytics tools to support decision-making
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual), adapting your style for executives and engineers alike
Strong analytical and organizational skills; you anticipate risks and proactively course-correct
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional programs across Product, Design, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering

NICE TO HAVE:

Familiarity with a modern marketing-technology and product-analytics stack, such as Amplitude and Segment
Working knowledge of e-commerce, subscription-billing, and lifecycle-messaging platforms, such as Shopify, Stripe, and Iterable
Comfort with error-monitoring, logging, and BI tools, such as Sentry, GCP Cloud Logging, and Snowflake

DUTCH'S GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Pets First – business and medical decisions are always guided by the pet’s best interest. We’ll never compromise on pet health and we’re all here because we care about their well-being
Agile Like a Cat – We have a bias toward swift action, while maintaining quality and accuracy. For us, that means being able to turn on a dime, like a cat, analyze our options – even ones that may not be on the table – then execute without perfection getting in the way
Creativity is our Catnip – Creativity feeds us and helps us push boundaries to always find better solutions, making the complex more accessible and easier to understand
Be the Human Your Dog Thinks You Are – Be kind, show care for your colleagues, and even if you’re an expert - give others context, reinforce the positive, and help them understand.
