Designs, builds, secures, and maintains George Fox University's server, storage, backup, and cloud infrastructure (on-prem and in Google Cloud/AWS), managing accounts, authentication, file sharing, and disaster recovery while supporting and troubleshooting systems used across campus.

About the Job:
The Senior Systems Engineer will work with the institutional technology team to provide technology infrastructure that meets the needs of students and employees. They will design, build, secure, and maintain systems using best practices. By partnering with teams throughout the University, the individual will help align institutional resources with the university's mission.

A Senior Systems Engineer will design, manage, secure, and maintain the server, storage, and backup infrastructure, physical, virtual, and cloud hosted. They will oversee various authentication methods, including Active Directory, Single Sign-On, and file sharing. Additionally, they will provide support and troubleshoot multiple systems.
