Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Engineer to join our IT and cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise security infrastructure to protect systems, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in security operations, threat monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and infrastructure security across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions and controls
- Monitor security systems, alerts, logs, and incidents using SIEM and security tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation activities
- Manage firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint security, and access controls
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and security breaches
- Implement security policies, standards, and compliance best practices
- Secure cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Perform security audits, patch management, and system hardening activities
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to improve security posture
- Maintain documentation related to security architecture, incidents, and procedures
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies
