Senior technical leader in the internal IT department who designs, runs, and modernizes the company's network, cloud, server, and virtualization stack — centered on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Aruba/Meraki/Fortinet networking, VMware/Hyper-V, and Windows Server. Also serves as top escalation point and mentor, and leads IT integration for company acquisitions.
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Systems Administrator to serve as a key technical leader within the IT department. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the company’s network, cloud, server, virtualization, and Microsoft technology environments.
The Senior Systems Administrator will have a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, enterprise networking, virtualization, Windows Server, and hybrid infrastructure platforms. This role will work closely with the Desktop Support Analyst and Junior Systems Administrator, serving as a senior escalation resource, technical mentor, and subject matter expert (SME) for complex infrastructure and systems-related issues.
The Senior Systems Administrator will lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, develop and maintain technical standards, drive complex infrastructure projects, and help ensure the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of the company’s technology environment.
This position will also play a key role in infrastructure integration and modernization associated with company acquisitions, including network architecture, identity integration, server and application migrations, security alignment, and standardization of acquired environments.

The anticipated salary for this position is between $90,000.00 and $100,000.00 annually. In addition to competitive pay, Port Jersey Logistics Network offers a robust benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k)-retirement plan, and paid time off.
