We are looking for a deeply technical Senior Collaboration System Engineer, who enjoys taking
ownership, solving technical problems and figuring things out.
Our team is responsible for the collaboration tools used across the organization, including Google
Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Atlassian, Asana, Figma and Miro, as well as integrations
with other business systems.
Start: ASAP
Length: 6 months with possibility to extension
Location: Stockholm
What you will do
Some of your main responsibilities will be to:
Administer, maintain and improve our collaboration platforms.
Troubleshoot technical issues across applications, identities, permissions and
integrations.
Support integrations between SaaS platforms and other business systems, such as
Workday.
Work with areas such as identity and access, SSO, OAuth, APIs and service accounts.
Collaborate with Service Desk, other IT teams and vendors to solve issues and improve
our services.
Keep up with new SaaS and AI-powered features, test relevant capabilities and
understand their value, limitations, security, privacy and licensing implications.
Use AI and other modern tools effectively and securely to make everyday work more
efficient.
Maintain documentation and share knowledge across the team.
Support merge/split of instances due to acquisition/separation of companies.
Coach junior and mid-level engineers to drive high engineering standards across the
team.
Who are we looking for?
You enjoy combining technical problem-solving with collaboration and user support. You work in
a structured way, take ownership and you are comfortable investigating problems, where the
solution isn't immediately obvious.
You are curious about new technology. When platforms introduce new capabilities, you are
comfortable exploring how they work, testing them and helping the team understand whether
and how we should use them.
To succeed in the role, we believe you have:
Significant experience in SaaS administration, system engineering, system
operations or a similar technical role.
Hands-on experience with at least one major enterprise collaboration platform, such as
Google Workspace or Slack.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of identity, security, access and permissions.
Extensive experience with APIs and system integrations.
Practical experience using AI tools and an understanding of secure and responsible use
of AI with company data.
Strong communication and documentation skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the
ability to collaborate across security, legal, and other teams.
Awareness of GDPR and data residency considerations relevant to a Nordic media
company handling employee and business data across borders.
Experience we particularly value
You don't need to tick every box, but experience in one or several of these areas would be
valuable:
Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
Slack, Atlassian, Asana, Figma or Miro (admin-level)
Identity and access management, SSO and OAuth
APIs, service accounts and SaaS integrations
SCIM provisioning experience
Workday or other enterprise-system integrations
ServiceNow / ITSM
AI tools and AI-powered SaaS features
Incident, problem and change management
Experience of complex corporate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures (M&A)
Implement and oversee modern workplace add-ons, including AI tools and copilots
