Senior IT professional responsible for maintaining, securing, and improving ResearchGate’s internal systems, endpoints, and networks in Berlin, using Windows/macOS, Google Workspace, GCP, and networking tools.
The web was created to help scientists collaborate and share knowledge. Today, we're carrying that mission forward by building technology that makes research more connected, more efficient, and more impactful.
Behind every great product is a great internal IT organization. To keep our teams productive, secure, and focused on what matters most, we rely on a modern, high-performing IT environment. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on IT professional with strong technical expertise, a pragmatic approach, and a passion for continuously improving infrastructure, automation, and the employee experience.
As our Senior System Administrator, you will play a key role in operating, maintaining, and continuously improving our internal IT environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Berlin office at Chausseestraße, where you'll provide hands-on support, manage our workplace infrastructure, and ensure our systems remain secure, scalable, and reliable.
This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking strategically while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day operations. From end-user support and endpoint management to networking, infrastructure, automation, and security, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across our entire IT landscape.
You'll be the go-to technical contact for internal IT, help establish and improve processes, drive continuous improvements, and step in wherever your expertise is needed.
