Senior Support Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer - Technical Support, you will provide hands-on support for our Java-based Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and high-quality documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Your primary focus will be resolving support tickets, troubleshooting integration and backend issues, and maintaining clear technical documentation. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to development tasks and optional AI/automation enhancements, helping to improve system efficiency and automation over time.

Responsibilities

• 1) Technical Support & Ticket Resolution-Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve support issues; escape complex problems as needed
• 2) Documentation & Knowledge Management-Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, user guides, and internal knowledge base articles
• 3) Development & Enhancements-Implement bug fixes or feature improvements in Java/Spring Boot; participate in code reviews and QA testing
• 4) Cloud & System Administration-Monitor AWS infrastructure, ensure application uptime, assist with deployments and release verification
• 5)Optional AI/Automation Contribution - Support automation initiatives or AI-enabled enhancements to improve Support team efficiency

Key Qualifications

• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system and integration issues effectively
• Documentation & Communication: Communicate technical solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Advance Development Skills: Implement fixes or enhancements in Java/Spring Boot. With solid Java, Spring Boot, or similar backend frameworks expertise.Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Systems & Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with cloud-based applications (AWS preferred) and enterprise architectures
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Structured approach to analyzing technical issues and implementing solutions
• Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams and contributes to operational efficiency

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to HCM platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors
• Experience creating automation scripts or AI/ML implementations
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, SAP UI5)
• Knowledge of documentation standards and knowledge base maintenance
• Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., Odoo, Jira, ServiceNow) and Agile workflows
