Senior Solution Engineer, Financial Crime

Senior Solution Engineer – Financial Crime

Vyntra helps financial institutions detect and prevent financial crime through real-time intelligence, combining internal transaction data with external signals to give fraud teams a clearer view of risk.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Solution Engineer to support complex enterprise opportunities across Europe. Working closely with Sales, Product, Professional Services and Customer Success, you’ll lead the technical side of the sales process, from discovery and qualification through demonstrations, proof of concepts, solution design and handover.

As a senior member of the Solution Engineering team, you’ll also help us bring greater structure and consistency to how we work – improving our approach to demos, qualification, solution design and handover as the business grows.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical discovery, solution demonstrations and customer workshops for fraud and financial crime opportunities.
• Own the technical workstream throughout the sales process, from qualification and discovery through demos, solution design and technical validation, ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and proposed solutions are deliverable.
• Design and run structured proof of concepts with clear objectives, success criteria and outcomes.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into credible solutions using the Vyntra platform and partner capabilities where relevant.
• Engage confidently with technical, operational and senior stakeholders within banks and financial institutions.
• Build and maintain high-quality demo environments and scenarios reflecting customer use cases and regional requirements.
• Work closely with Product and R&D to ensure demonstrations and proposed solutions remain aligned with our product capabilities and roadmap.
• Produce clear qualification, solution design and handover documentation so that Professional Services understands what has been agreed and what needs to be delivered.
• Help improve Solution Engineering processes and standards, creating greater consistency and visibility across opportunities.
• Capture customer requirements, market insight and competitor intelligence and feed this back into Product and the wider commercial organisation.
• Work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from presales into implementation and the ongoing customer relationship.
• Support and share knowledge with other Solution Engineers, helping develop best practice across the team.

What You Bring

• Strong experience in Solution Engineering, presales or technical sales within fraud prevention, financial crime, payments, cybersecurity or a closely related area.
• Good understanding of fraud operations within banks or financial institutions, ideally with experience in payments and payment fraud.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise sales engagements with banks, payment providers, FinTechs or other financial institutions.
• A track record of designing and delivering technical demonstrations, workshops and proof of concepts.
• Strong data and integration skills, with the technical depth to understand data models, APIs, integration requirements and deployment architecture.
• The ability to understand complex customer requirements and turn them into clear, practical solution designs.
• Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• A good understanding of the fraud and financial crime technology landscape.
• Experience contributing to or improving presales processes, playbooks, demo strategy or ways of working.
• Fluent English. French, German or Spanish would be an advantage.

How You Work

You’re comfortable in a growing business where processes are still evolving. You’re technically credible, commercially aware and able to work comfortably with both customers and internal teams.

You’re happy remaining hands-on while also looking beyond your own opportunities to identify where things
