Senior Software Product Manager

ABOUT BEZOS ACADEMY

At Bezos Academy, we believe all children deserve the great start that excellent early education provides, including in under-resourced communities. Our mission is to nurture the potential in every child to become a creative leader, original thinker, and lifelong learner by inventing the solutions needed to scale early childhood education. We are a unique organization that realizes our mission in two distinct ways. First, we operate a multi-state network of schools in under-resourced communities, offering quality Montessori preschool at no cost to families. Second, we invest in creating tools, products, technology, and other solutions designed to reach children well beyond the walls of our schools. We aspire to have a profound, large-scale impact on children ages zero to five.

DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Software Product Manager at Bezos Academy, you will help more parents and caregivers create moments that matter by inventing solutions for early childhood education. You will join a founding team that is building solutions to challenges in early childhood education, combining AI technology, mobile apps, and curated learning materials to put a coach in the pocket of every parent. You will drive the product strategy for family impact through our mobile app, leading a product development team from concept through launch and ongoing ownership. Your work will combine digital experiences for caregivers with analog activities for children. You’ll work from a basis of family insights to make hard trade-offs and prioritize what matters most: the children and families we serve.

You have a track record of building first-generation products and experiences that customers love. You are a hands-on, mission-driven product leader adept at collaborating with engineers and designers to solve customer problems. You work resourcefully across platforms and constraints, define problems clearly, resolve ambiguity, and iterate your way to success. You know what makes a software product exceptional and impart that standard in others. You thrive in fast-paced startup environments, motivated equally by great products and great impact, inspired by our mission to expand access to early childhood development programs for families of all kinds.
