Senior engineer on Google's Pixel Camera team in New Taipei City, optimizing the performance, reliability, and thermals of the Android camera app and its underlying subsystems. Day-to-day involves cross-team profiling, telemetry infrastructure, and data-driven prioritization of speed, memory, and ML improvements.

The Pixel Camera teams design and deliver cameras and provide exceptional user experience. We work to showcase the image processing, computational photography, machine learning technologies, and deliver the imaging software solutions for users. We also try to transform how people interact with newer and smarter Android devices.
In this role, you will collaborate with Camera pipeline and algorithm teams across Pixel Camera app and underlying subsystems to ensure the utmost performance and reliability of the entire Camera experience in both lab and field environments. You will use data to guide development teams in prioritizing the opportunities for improvement. You will identify problematic anti-patterns and share best practices widely to maximize impact. You will contribute significantly towards a truly polished Pixel Camera product worthy of industry and user accolades.
